Hello, First, re-install the latest video driver. The first onto the page below (ie AMD Catalyst 10.12 Preview for Windows 7– Featuring the new Catalyst Control Center) should fit your needs : http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx#1 Then, try to run sof2 and, if you can, other games to see if your problem is only related to sof2. If the problem is related to sof2, you can try to run sof2 in compatibility mode. I don't have win7, however, I used it on winXP to play old games, so I guess this worth to give a try on win7. After googling on that, I found that win7 offers a "compatibility assistant". You can try this wizard, but if this doesn't work, or if you're totaly lost with it, you can try the manual setting which seems, for me, more suitable. In that last case, you will have to do the following : right click onto the sof2 program icon (ie the one called sof2mp.exe), then select "properties". This will give you a dialog box with several tabs. Select the tab "compatibility", check "Run this program in compatibility mode for", and into the list of "windows version" below this check-box, select "Windows XP (Service pack 2)". click onto "Change settings for all users" if you're not the only one to play this game, then click OK. In case this not works, you can try with another windows version. Hoping this will helpful. |

Hello,
You will find slackware package for WINE at alienBob's repository ftp://ftp.slackware.org.uk/people/alien/slackbuilds/wine/. In case of package for Slackware-64, you will need to install 32-bit compatibility layer (aka multilib) from AlienBob: http://alien.slackbook.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=slackware:multilib. If you install it this will give you an opportunity to try the tool I wrote
Id-Software always exists (http://idsoftware.com). In case of Quake 1, I don't remember exactly, but there was a native linux port of Quake 2. However it is not available anymore. I tried it long time ago and I had some heavy sounds problems. The Windows version of Q1 and Q2 run flawlessly under WINE. For Q3 and Q4, you will find native ports here and there. cheers. |

Hello,
Yeah ! Slackware is the best linux version . I'm used to it since version 2.3. I recently wrote a simple tool for 64-bit version that can be found here. If you like Slackware, don't forget to look at http://www.slackbuilds.org, nor http://www.sbopkg.org.
SOF2 run flawlessly under Linux using WINE cheers |

Hello well, as i said on clan chat, if you have a bad signal with your wireless connection, you can try this: 1. try to get closer from the modem to see if things get better. 2. try to place the modem in high. I hope this could help you a bit. |

Well, now that I calmed down, I revised my position and changed my mind. Sorry for being a bit impulsive but Oreo really disgusted me and he pissed me off :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire: This guy has 35y but he behaves like 3.5y old child. And even if remaining young in his mind is a good thing, I'm sorry, this is not a reason to be impolite nor disrespecting anybody like he does so often, even in a game like SOF2. P.S : Sorry for my broken English. |

As i'm disgusted by Oreo who behaves always like a kid and has no respect for me and for most part of players, I can't continue to be part of this clan. So bye, bye |
