Today I had to do the car shuffle because I used the "pit" garage where my baby usually sits.
Not fun to push it around!
I'm hoping that in the next few months of winter to find the time to rebuild the engine & transmission.
I have a parts pile collected for the brakes, the paint will do for now but it would be nice to have it redone properly, some serious hacks did a number on it about 15 years ago.
I've kept her in the garage stored for the last 10 years.
Its a 1984 16th anniversary Hurst/Olds.
Its no longer required to be tested for emissions, I plan to rebuild the original engine 5.0L but I do have an older engine I'll go through again to put in here
The late 60's "rocket 350" had a higher nickel content in the block than the newer engine blocks.
These engine blocks were actually painted gold from the factory.
**Ah I forgot to take a pic of the factory lightning rods in the console - ok tomorrow!**

I win..
Nice challenger, I remember when they were abundant in the 70's & 80's.
The 1970 was the shit tho - the 1970 340ci was known as a "baby hemi"
which the name was given rightfully so for that small block really had punch!
If you were fortunate enough to have a 1970 challenger with either the 426 HEMI or the 440 wedge or commonly known as 440 interceptor engines oh man they were WICKED!!
Taking a quarter mile pass with either of those engines the rear tires were constantly spinning - they never really had 100% traction.
1971 - 1973 the 340 was losing power to emission control as the big block (440) was also being neutered by lowered compression and weaker camshaft grinds.
The car still looked badassed, but the engines needed reworking/retuning with older parts.
MOPAR has a line which is called "Direct connection" which has formulas for every one of their car/engine combination & how fast you want to go is directly in relation to your pocketbook.
lol ass...
Show me where the gastank fill is then
